Concepts in Motivation, Inc. is looking forward to another successful dance year. This year’s exciting recital theme, “Lights, Camera, Action!” will center around those movies, old and new, that we all cherish and have fond memories of. Our teachers have already begun the process of searching for the perfect costume, the perfect music, and of course, the fun choreography that goes into making all our classes look their best! We look forward to a great recital year with, “Lights, Camera, Action!”

With new teachers and staff we will offer the best dance experience for your child. The World of Performing Arts and dance can offer any dancer a year of building self esteem, discipline, and nurturing while also providing life long friendships and memories.

Our new Concepts Director, Angelique Waldron, is happy to begin her fifth year with us. She has taught at the Clopper’s Mill Dance Center and the Olney Studio of Dance. This year she can be found teaching at the Olney Studio of Dance while also leading our Performing Arts Team. 

Pam Loebach will begin serving as Office Manager to the Olney Studio of Dance. Pam has been dancing at the Olney Studio herself, and is looking forward to handling administrative task for the studio. 

Our Clopper’s Mill Dance Center is happy to have Linda Weinel join our staff as Office Manager for the studio this year. Linda is very creative and is looking forward to continuing the family atmosphere at Clopper’s Mill. 

Rhonda Rose will be serving now as Office Manager to our Damascus Studio of Dance and Mt. Airy Studio of Dance. We are happy to have Rhonda on board with us! She has enjoyed watching our dancers during recitals this year. 

It is with regret that we must say good buy to Tina Rangan, from our Mt. Airy Studio of Dance at the end of July. Miss Tina has been an asset to Mt. Airy for many years. It you would like to send a note to Miss Tina, you can mail it to the studio or send an email to MtAiry@cmdance.com. We will see to it that it is forwarded when she is settled. We hope you will join us in offering Miss Tina great success in her new life in North Carolina as she continues her dance career, her massage practice, and becomes a new homeowner. We wish her the best of luck! 

It is the goal of Concepts in Motivation to provide teachers for our students that possess a generous knowledge of dance technique, and a wonderful understanding of performance skills. We have some wonderful teachers who will be taking on Miss Tina’s classes and will continue to advance her students.

Dawn Macquade, who has been teaching at our Clopper’s Mill Dance Center, will also be teaching at our Mt. Airy and Damascus studios. Miss Dawn has a real love for dance and performance, and is looking forward to the New Year already!

We hope to see everyone at Open House! It’s always a fun and exciting time to see everyone again.
